Ruth has worked professionally in the field of youth
arts for more than 20 years, much of it in developmental roles at
national and regional levels. She has wide- ranging knowledge and
understanding of practices in youth and participatory arts, having
worked as practitioner, project manager, trainer and in a range of
consultancy roles in this sector.
She is also the author of several published articles and books and
is often invited to advisory groups and to speak at conferences and
seminars.
Through her company Ruth L Jones Ltd Ruth works on one-off or long
term contracts as sole consultant or in partnership with other professionals,
partners and associates specialising in arts and young people.
As a practising musician (she is bass guitarist for “The
Zucchinis”) she has also been regularly involved in teaching
and delivering music projects for both adults and young people. |
